Question 1

How long does a typical bathroom renovation take?

Accepted Answer

A standard bathroom renovation usually takes between 3 to 4 weeks from the start of demolition to the final handover. This timeline can vary based on the complexity of the design, custom fixtures, and any unforeseen structural issues.

Question 2

Do I need to move out during the renovation?

Accepted Answer

In most cases, no. As long as you have a second bathroom you can use, you can stay in your home. We ensure the work area is sealed off to minimize dust and disruption to the rest of your house.

Question 3

Do you handle the rubbish removal?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our quote includes the full strip-out and responsible disposal of all demolition materials and construction waste. We ensure the site is kept clean and safe throughout the project.

Question 4

Do you provide fixed-price quotes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Following our in-home consultation, we provide a comprehensive, fixed-price quote. This covers all trades, materials, and labor outlined in the scope of work. No hidden fees or surprise variations.

Question 5

Are your consultations free?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. We offer a free, no-obligation in-home consultation to discuss your vision, measure the space, and provide professional advice on layout and design options before we prepare your quote.

Question 6

What payment schedule do you use?

Accepted Answer

We use a standard industry progress payment schedule. This typically involves a deposit before work begins, followed by staged payments at key milestones (e.g., after demolition, after waterproofing/tiling), and a final payment only upon practical completion and your satisfaction.

Question 7

What guarantees do you offer?

Accepted Answer

We stand by the quality of our work. We offer a 10-year guarantee on all waterproofing, plus a comprehensive statutory warranty on all structural work and workmanship.

Question 8

Can I supply my own tiles or fixtures?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can. We are happy to work with items you have sourced yourself, provided they meet Australian Standards. However, we also have excellent relationships with premium suppliers and can often secure better trade pricing.

Question 9

Are you fully licensed and insured?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. We are fully licensed builders in Victoria and carry comprehensive public liability and construction insurance.

Question 10

Do I need to organize my own plumber or electrician?

Accepted Answer

No, we manage the entire project from start to finish. We have a trusted team of fully licensed tradespeople, including plumbers, electricians, waterproofers, and tilers.

Question 11

Will I have a dedicated project manager?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You will be assigned a dedicated project manager who will be your single point of contact throughout the entire build. They will coordinate all trades, deliveries, and ensure the project stays on schedule.

Question 12

Do you service my specific suburb in Melbourne?

Accepted Answer

We service the entire greater Melbourne metropolitan area, covering the Inner City, Eastern Suburbs, Bayside, South East, Northern, and Western Suburbs. If you are unsure, just give us a call to confirm!
